What is image? Is it something that you project to other people, for them to see, but may not be your true character. Then in this case, won't it be superficial. If you are just acting out a character that you are not and not willing to be, are you being true to yourself. Or are you just afraid that people will not accept who you really are. Then who are your true friends, do they know, do they accept. Time has a way of telling. When the truth is out, can they accept. It may be true that in society, people just wants to see what you can portray and not who you really are. They may not care what type of flesh or feelings you have, just the shell.
