Gear 25: Season finale

Finally, the time has come.
Although I tried to calm my nerves, reminded myself of all lessons,
It is perhaps still not enough.
Like it or not, life goes on.

Gear 24

A final lesson.
Another day of drizzle.
Somehow, I was really bad,
Totally as if I have not done circuit before.
Even after much scoldings and frustration,
I don't know what is more.
Everything is going downhill.
But, no matter what, I am thankful to my instructor.

Gear 23

The traffic at 0800 was heavy.
No circuit today.
An initial dread and boredom.
A little fast and forgetful.

Gear 22

Drizzling.
Perhaps a little more,
To make it big.

It is almost as if I don't really care anymore.
With so little time left,
And obviously not ready for it,
What to do?

Haven't fully mastered the circuit...

Turn left? Go straight? Turn right?

It is quite hilarious that after 19 lessons of driving around Ang Mo Kio and I am still unable to memorise the routes.

Gear 18

Thought I have mastered circuit but I thought wrongly. The only consolation is that I didn't mount kerb. Was quite happy that I exited the circuit. However, the happiness was shortlived as I missed a U-turn and from then on, drove way out of the training routes.
Quite angst with myself.

Gear 17

The mistakes are back to haunt me...

Second time at circuit. Not that bad, but definitely can improve.

Gear 16

Late for lesson, super tired, no circuit, reckless driving...
A waste of time and money, perhaps.

Gear 15

Finally the circuit! Really dislike the circuit: all the narrow lanes, inviting kerbs, seemingly easy obstacles, limited time... How am I going to survive it, don't even understand what my instructor is saying...

Definitely need more circuit!

Gear 14

Finally a chance to play with the reverse gear! Was doing parallel parking, which I think is quite difficult because I do not have a good gauge of distance. And the engine stalled a couple of times because I released the clutch too much. And my foot on the clutch always got shifted. And my leg got cramp doing the parallel parking so many times. And this. And that.

Overall, kinda happy.

Gear 13

Am I getting the hang of driving? Yes and no...
My U-turn is quite bad: supposed to go to lane two but ended in lane 1 then turn into lane 2, guess that's like immediate failure... And I still feel that driving makes my ankle hurts. Luckily I'm not having lesson everyday.

Gear 12

Resumed my driving lesson after a hiatus of a month. Was kinda worried that I would be worse than the previous lesson, in addition to the fact that I am sick. The test date is running near and there's still so much I have not mastered. But, I am a little impressed by myself. There was no engine stall (almost have but lucky) and there were definitely no accidents. But I need to work on my turning and U-turns. Currently they are still a disaster. Well, at least the instructor is reserving more slots for me and that should be a good thing.

Gear 11

Was slightly late for lesson so was a little hurried to get everything started. Was a little worried that the lesson would turn out to be a repeat of the previous. However, it turned out fine. In fact, everything was perfect until I stalled the engine five minutes before the lesson ended. But, I was quite happy with myself. Note to self: Get out, complacency!

Gear 10

Driving fee is going to rise soon and I bet my instructor just loves me for spending so much money on driving.

Beyond the point of care, I am truly 'amazing'.

Today's lesson was totally bad, almost as if I was the mastermind for the failure. It was a total letdown.

Main problem: The clutch.

Thought I had mastered it, but no. Today's lesson totally proved it as the engine stalled for an uncountable number of times. Totally fed up with myself. Complacency?

Immaturely, I would blame the sinister weather. It was so hot.

Today could have learnt something new, but I guess my instructor knew I wasn't up to it yet... (in other words, almost giving up on me...) And when will I be ready...?

Can't believe that it is the seventh lesson already.

It's lesson six already and what can I say about myself... Nothing great unless you count the mistakes. In fact, I thought I performed better for my fifth lesson... Maybe a few more rounds will do the trip... Lol, certainly hope so...
