Thank You & Farewell

It had been a sombre week as we mourned the passing of our first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew. As a generation which benefitted from the results of the multitude of policies he implemented, we may not have realised how tough the journey of nation building could be. Even from the documentaries and International tributes, we could only glimpse on this giant. However, it is thanks to his dedication that we achieved what we have today. We could not have come so far without him. Thank you, Mr Lee. May you rest in peace.

It was WH's birthday and to reminiscence the time we spent in Portugal, we decided to treat him to Boca.

Octopus salad with red onions, capsicums, cilantro, extra virgin olive oil and vinegar
(Well presented but let down by the mushy octopus) 

Codfish with potato, onion and parsley fritters
(Good texture but pricey)

(Very good)

(Sweet with a tinge of cinnamon, the way I remembered) 

The Portugal I remembered was filled with bountiful of food at affordable prices. Regrettably, the food at Boca was limited, small-portioned and expensive. Hope they find their footing soon.
