Synopsis:
Following Gordon (Gary Oldman) 's question to Batman (Christian Bale) of whether he knows someone called the Joker (Heath Ledger) in Batman Begins, we are introduced to district attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), the white knight of Gotham City. Trying to eliminate crimes in Gotham city, Batman is faced with the fact that crime is escalating because of him. Against the scheming Joker and Two-face, Batman is the hero that Gotham needs.
Review:
Simply fantastic and awesome. A stellar performance by the cast. Especially Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker: total sadistic fun, creepy and unpredictable. Aaron Eckhart as Two-face is smart and ruthless. Needless to talk about the superb acting by Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman. Action fans will definitely enjoy the versatile Batpod, Batman's new choice of transport. However, this is not just any mere action flick, but a blockbuster with moral issues. A tad lengthy, but I am enjoying every scene that the sick Joker is in. No wonder it is sold out.
