Synopsis:
700 years from now, Earth is nothing but a wasteland and empty Buy N Large malls, both a result of human activities. Devoid of humans, since they are all enjoying their inactive lifestyle aboard the spacecraft Axiom, Waste allocation load lifter earth-class (Wall.E) is left to clean up the mess. While cleaning, he met Eve, a robot deployed to search for presence of plant, and thus began their adventure through space.
Review:
Pixar has done it again, weaving a fantastic tale of imagination and morals. A touching innocent love story between Wall.E and Eve (perhaps robots in the future are too personified), though I felt that Eve was too sinister initially. Wall.E on the other hand was naive and cute, chasing after Eve to Axiom. Although dialogue-less, their actions conveyed more than words could. Enters the lazy humans and other idiosyncratic robots in the second half of the movie, which brought about a message on capitalism and values. It is really amazing.
