Beijing Olympics 2008

At approximately four hours long, the opening ceremony definitely dazzled the crowd with its spectacular introduction of China's contribution to the world with its four treasures. Creativity was aplenty at the ceremony with its mass ensemble, lighting and fireworks. One fascinating thing would be the canvas of which athletes from 204 committees left their footprint on. Such a simple yet impactful act. Of course, the final relay of the torch is to look out for as it survived numerous protests to finally officiate the Olympics.

Well done, Beijing. I'm proud to call myself a chinese.
