Week of 4NTM

Less than a month to Operational Ready Date (ORD), and my company is involved in standby duty. Not any standby duty, but a 4 hours Notice To Move (4NTM) duty. Many of us were complaining about it. It should have been a dull period for us. Anyway, if we were really activated, which I think we will, then it would be very troublesome. Imagine getting the vehicles ready, drawing of ammunition and accounting for everything. Well, it's not that I really mind. I just do not like the guard duty part where we have to take turns guarding the shed from any intruders. That's the most boring part, trying to handle the men and staying awake.
