Movie: 10000 BC (PG)

Synopsis:
The setting took place at 10000BC where there is a prophecy that during the last hunt of the mammoths, there will be a warrior who will emerge to bring progress to the people and win against the four- legged demons.

Review:
For those expecting an apocalypto - type of movie in 10000 BC will be utterly disappointed by this movie. The effects (all the creatures) and scenery may be impressive and the plot may be average. However, the overall effect differed greatly from its orginially intended genre of fantasy and action. In fact, while watching the movie, I thought that I was watching a comedy. Even at serious moments, the audience were easily amused. In all, the most exciting moment had to be in the jungle where they were chased by carnivores giant birds. The most hilarious would be the birth of the domestic cat. If there are no other movies to catch, this could be a good one to spend joyous time with friends.
