Feeling a little void

Another spec friend has left for overseas studies. Was at Changi after work to send him off. Felt a little weird because when we waved bye, it was as if he was just boarding a bus to somewhere in Singapore. However, while travelling home, the realisation set in. Going to a new environment and staying there for a couple of years, with no friends physically there. To some, it may be a new start, a great adventure. However, to others, the emotional burden may be too much.
