@ Ocean Restaurant

We went to the Ocean Restaurant for our lunch during our staycation at RWS, Sentosa. For those who have trouble accessing the restaurant, you may call up the restaurant and request for a buggy to pick you up from any of the RWS hotels. It really felt like a VIP experience while driven on the buggy. Note, request to be seated by the glass in your reservation for the extra wow factor.

Cute Centrepiece

The menu is mainly a 4-course set lunch ($60++) which you are able to order any of the dishes as la carte. Since we were not particularly hungry, we settled for 2 set lunches and 2 additional mains among the four of us.

White Onion Soup with Crispy Bread, Caramelised Onion and Cheese
(Great mix of texture)

Salmon rillettes

Pan-Fried Fresh Fish from New Zealand with Picked Celery Heart and Balsamic Caper-Reduction
(Fresh fish but the sauce was a tad overwhelming)

Crispy Skin Barramundi with Parma Ham Floss & Olive Oil Mashed Potato
(Innovative but could do with a less salty side)

Crispy Kurobuta Pork Belly
(Nothing can go wrong with this)

Crispy Boneless Confit of Duck Leg
(Very nicely done)

Fresh Fruit and Berries

Cremet D'anjou
(Light and perfect)

The food may not be perfect but the overall dining experience more than made up for it.
