@ Golden Peony Restaurant

It was G's farewell meal before leaving Singapore. As G requested for Chinese cuisine, we went to Conrad Centennial Singapore Golden Peony Restaurant for their Cantonese dim sum.

Golden Peony restaurant

Pretty table setting

Fresh Prawn wrapped in Crispy Filo
(Yummy and not oily at all)

Polo Char Siew Bun
(Delicious but could have been more presentable)

Vegetarian Mushroom Dim Sum
(Good texture but needs more taste)

Caviar Scallop Siew Mai
(Interesting and delicious)

Abalone Glutinous Rice
(Moist rice but abalone did not stand out)

Steamed Scallop and Prawn in Golden Fried Beancurd topped with Crabmeat
(Delicious combination)

Golden Fried Sea Perch and Avocado
(Another interesting combination but lacking in taste)

Portuguese Chicken Tarts
(Good crust with slightly spiced savoury chicken chunks)

Crabmeat Fried Rice
(Good and tastes healthy)

Overall, the food at Golden Peony was innovative and appealing. Coupled with the good service in this posh spacious restaurant, it is a family favourite.
