@ Sabio

We went to Sabio at 5 Duxton Hill to celebrate E's birthday. It was barely lunch time but Sabio was packed. Thankfully, there were still counter seats for the three of us. Here's the tapas we had from the hangover brunch menu.

Caviar of eggplant on roasted garlic toast (Rather mild)

Seafood salad (Lovely) & Homemade marinated capsicum (Normal)

Oysters (Fresh)

Sizzling prawns in virgin olive oil and garlic (Juicy but needs a splash of lemon)

Traditional Spanish omelette with chorizo (Bland)

Mussels in tomato sauce (Decent)

Lamb shank (Tender)

Chicken in garlic queso manchego (Juicy)

Pan-fried calamari (Good)

Traditional Spanish noodle 'paella' with squid, red peppers in squid ink (Yummy)

Garlic mushrooms (Slightly salty)

Spanish coca (Good thin crust)

Beef meat ball in spicy tomato sauce (Decent)

Catalan custard (Caramelised sugar was a bit thick)

Churros (Good)

Vanilla, white chocolate rice pudding (One dimensional)

We tried most of the tapas in the brunch menu. On the whole, the food at Sabio was leaning towards the salty side but otherwise good. Although the restaurant wasn't particularly large, service was slow.
