Running in the drizzle

The sky was overcast and the weather was cool for a run. After stepping out of home, a light drizzle began. Thinking nothing of it, I began my run. After all, it's not often that I run with a drizzle falling gently on me. Rather refreshing indeed. Suddenly, the raindrops started getting heavier and my run stopped.

After our volunteering work, E and I went to Tomi Sushi at Velocity. E made a reservation but there was no need since the restaurant was not packed. However, I read that if you want a specific seat or at the sushi bar, it would be best to reserve.

Sashimi

Service was fast and good, but not the most polite. The sashimi were cut too thick for my liking. No doubt the seafood were tender and juicy, there were a slight fishy taste. Could be my imagination. Not very impressed.

Volunteering for Deepavali

Another volunteering session. This time it's with HNF for Deepavali. We packed some Deepavali goodies and went to visit the patients. Sad to say, my first patient was recently hospitalised and we did not get to meet him.We passed the gifts to his family member and left. Luckily, our second patient was at home. Although the eighty years old patient is bed-ridden and very fragile, she smiled for us!
