Smoked Salmon Avo-Bayon

Had a quick pre-play dinner at TCC that turned out not that quick at all. It was too rush to give a critique on the food, just that the overall was alright.

A dinner meetup with E and G brought us to Hinoki at China Square. An impressive counter greeted us when we entered and we were quickly shown to our seats. Service was quick and perhaps too hurried while we were browsing the menu. It's funny that I took the Lady Bento while G got the Hinoki Bento. Both were very exciting and filling. I liked the soba sushi and they were very generous with the ikura. The thick slab of salmon was overwhelming. While the chawanmushi was alright, it's just not my favourite. Do ask the waitress for their specials as they are not in the menu.
